Unstoppable Behaviours

Unstoppable Behaviours

Unstoppable behaviours can have its roots in trauma and isolation.
Dr Gabor Mate, author of Realm of the Hungry Ghosts offers that unstoppable behaviours are related to these two factors more often than not. It can show up in the form of numbing out by way of alcohol, shopping, illegal drugs, workaholism, gaming excessively, binge watching TV and more.

Your habits may be creating distress to yourself or others, or taking you in to dangerous levels of usage, or you may just be deviant to the norm you see around you. The issues come in when you simply cannot stop doing it even though you want to.

Try some of these self-tests to see how you score.
