The difference to normal counselling is we look at ALL layers of your being  e.g. systemic (family, work or any group you belong to) and individual (spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, physiological)

RELATIONSHIP Counselling

Relationships are tricky most of the time. They can be in one of three states - functioning, breaking or broken. 
Counselling is a way for you to turn towards issues that cause you suffering with the guidance of an objective point of view that asks the right questions for you to reveal the answers you need.
Counselling can pro-actively help you improve relationships that seem flat, uninspired or dull. When things go awry, counselling can help
re-establish happy, healthy and functioning relationships. 
If we are not mindful of our relationships, break-ups and conflict can seem to come out of nowhere. We usually address it from a 'needs' perspective. When needs are not satisfied, there is a tendency to develop intense feelings. To bottle up is not healthy, and can only make matters worse. Addressing them with someone who can help you navigate these feelings can bring relief, and new ways of being in your relationships that bring about lasting change.

Relationship WARNING SIGNS

Relationships that may need a tune up  experience these warning signs:
  • Your interactions with your partner feel draining and may include constant arguments.
  • You feel fatigued, resentful, dissatisfied or unhappy.
  • You don't feel like having sex as often or it isn't what it used to be.
  • You possibly entertain the thought of escape, plan your life without the other, or have suicidal thoughts if you feel trapped.
  • Either or both of you have an addiction problem affecting the relationship.

ANXIETY & DEPRESSION Counselling

Anxiety & depression can be  acute (short term) or chronic (long term). 
​I work with you to locate where this comes from using my multi-layered holistic approach. Often anxiety is related to an emotional state, the cause of which is not always readily identifiable. 
Anxiety can also have its roots in a number of different places - it can come from many areas of life:
  • Developmental trauma
  • Event trauma
  • Social interactions
  • Family system
  • Physiological conditions - drugs & alcohol abuse
  • Cultural issues
  • Environmental stress
  • Workplace stress
  • Bullying etc.
If you have anxiety or depression, the most immediate thing you can do to help yourself is make an appointment straight away. You do not have to suffer - there is so much we can do to reduce anxiety and depression immediately, and then in the longer term, work together to remove the roots there of completely. It is possible to live anxiety free!
